Lift the top of the Cube off and place to the side. The stock fan can be removed by removing it's 4 screws and unplugging it's cable. Use the screws supplied with the fan to attach it to the plate. Route the fan cable up and through the slot in the top of the fan shroud. Remove the 4 screws holding it down and unplug the cable from the motherboard header. There is a cut out in the plate to provide enough clearance for fan. Use the new fan's supplied fan screws to mount it. Place the plate with fan over the GPU heatsink and it should sit down inside it and the 4 posts will rest overtop the heatsink fins. Use the original 4 screws to secure it down to the heatsink. Plug the fans 3 pin cable into the motherboard header. The vast majority of BNC cabling used in these environments is made up of 75 ohm mini coax. 75 ohm impedance is important in analog video signals as that is what this hardware was designed for and the signals are 75 ohms. So it’s important to use impedance matched cabling from console to display. I\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003ef the impedance is mismatched it can cause reflections and ringing which can result in a degraded signal\u003c\/span\u003e. And since we are using our 75 ohm mini coax on all lines, we get the extra benefit of noise rejection from outside sources as each line is individually shielded. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e75 ohm mini coax composes of a center dielectric (of PE insulation) with a copper core and double shielding going around it. The amount of copper in the core, the type of insulation that make up the dielectric and amount of shielding are what determines the cable impedance.
